Professor Jen Ross
Professor of Digital Culture and Education Futures
Professor Jen Ross is a Professor of Digital Culture and Education Futures, co-director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education, and Associate Dean (Research Cultures) in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, at the University of Edinburgh. She teaches on the MSc in Education Futures and the MSc in Digital Education programmes. Her research, teaching, and publications focus on online and open education, digital cultural heritage engagement, and digital cultures and futures. Professor Ross is also part of the team behind the Manifesto for Teaching Online and the E-learning and Digital Cultures MOOC.

Professor Ale Armellini
Professor and Dean of Education and Digital Innovation
Professor Ale Armellini is committed to generating institutional change and innovation at pace and at scale. He leads and enables transformational learning through inspirational teaching across the University – and beyond. He has a proven track record of leading and implementing large-scale, student-centred, evidence-based transformation, bringing stakeholders with him in the process. His position as an established reference point in the sector is evidenced through his impact as Dean of Learning and Teaching at Northampton, his leadership of Portsmouth’s innovative Digital Success Plan for Learning and Teaching, his research into active blended learning (ABL) and his global engagement through collaboration and consultancy. A visible and highly experienced trained mentor who leads from the front line, Ale continues to draw on research, colleagues, students and the academic community as essential sources of inspiration and growth.
